As one of the partners in Home of 2030, Design Council is running a series of creative, interactive workshops for people from four focus areas of the UK to share their ideas on the homes that we will want and need in 2030.
Led by design experts, the three-hour workshops will encourage local people to think innovatively about the homes that they, their friends and their family might want and need in the future. Participants will consider how we can raise the quality of housing design and address the gap in the market for affordable housing that is more energy efficient and adaptable to people’s needs over their lifetimes. Together, they will be challenged to develop their shared vision of the Home of 2030.
These first of these events takes place in Birmingham on 19th November. The other dates are Oxford, 2nd December, Bristol, 5th December and Manchester, 10th December – if you scroll down on the Birmingham event web page you will find a link to the other events.
