It is now just over a month since the formal launch of the Home of 2030 design competition. The launch event on March 2nd took place at IET London and was attended by Housing Minister Rt Hon Christopher Pincher MP.
IET TV covered the occasion and you can view two new videos from the event – the first covering the full proceedings of the event including the Minister’s speech, together with presentations from representatives of MHCLG, BEIS and the Department of Health and Social Care. You will also hear from BRE, Design Council and RIBA.
A second video features interviews from Gilli Hobbs of BRE, Julie Hirigoyen of the UK Green Building Council and Andy von Bradsky of MHCLG. All of which is useful content for anyone considering entering the competition, and useful for wider stakeholders and those looking to collaborate with Home of 2030 project teams.
A reminder for those interested in entering the competition, you now have until June 3rd to submit a Phase 1 proposal. The first step in entering is to register for the competition and obtain a Unique Reference Number (URN). You can do that here.
